Admissions Committee

We take the admissions process very very seriously. Our admissions team consists only of our Fellows who read these applications. Over 150 Fellows are actively involved in scoring and deciding whom to admit.

Admissions Process

Filling out an application can be done in 20 minutes. Some Fellows take over an hour to complete it. Please do a good job, since this messages your seriousness for being a part of SLP. Your application is read and scored by two Fellows, then ok'd by the Chapter Program Team, approved by the Head of Admissions. In some, not all cities, an short phone or face-to-face interview may be requested.

Criteria

Unlike incubators, we do not judge the quality of your startup. Instead we focus on YOU. What matters to us is that we only choose very high-caliber individuals. Within this, we look at leadership, entrepreneurial or innovation experience, potential for success in the startup ecosystem, willingness to be an active member of the community, and cultural fit with our values. We build a diverse class so showcase your uniqueness.

Admits & Admit Rates

We take approximately 25 Fellows in each city. Our admit rate for cities where SLP is as low as 20% and averages 30% in past years.
