Hitesh Oberoi is the COO and Founder of Naukri.com, India’s top job site. As a copromoter Hitesh today leads the operations at Info Edge, a company he helped cocreate for the last 11 years with his partners, Sanjeev Bikhchandani and Ambarish Raghuvanshi. Apart from the country’s leading job site – Naukri.com, Info Edge also owns Jeevansathi.com, 99acres.comnaukrigulf.com and the recently launched Shiksha.com. It is the only Internet Company listed on the NSE.With 11 years of experience in the internet industry, he is part of various industry forums. He currently chairs the Classifieds’ Committee for IAMAI and is also a charter member of the TiE, New Delhi. Prior to Info Edge, Hitesh worked for almost four years as the Regional Planning and Distribution Manager (North India) for the Ice Cream Division of Hindustan UniLever Limited, the Indian arm of Unilever Plc. An alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore, he won the Prestigious Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award along with his Partner Sanjeev Bikhchandani for Business Transformation in 2008. He will be at SLP Delhi, talking to the startup CEOs in end February 2011.
