Ankur Gupta  is the  Founder/CEO of SourceSocial, a crowdsourced news reporting platform. It targets the newsworthy local stories, curated & maintained by its community. Prior to SourceSocial, he  worked at Microsoft as a software developer, where he was integral part of Windows 8 team. Ankur has also worked in Windows Phone development team. He  is an expert in RubyOnRails, OO Javascript and Windows/Phone development. Ankur holds a degree in Computer Science. He  is a fan of new technologies & startups. Ankur  is passionate about meeting new people & solving the complex problem in a really simple way. He  is 2014 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Arpita Soma, Internfever

Arpita Soma is a co-founder at Internfever.com , a startup providing young India a platform to explore, experience & enhance their skills through internships and career development services. She is a curator at www.we-thewomen.com , a freestyle writing platform for women. She has worked with Greeley & Hansen as a Civil & Environmental Engineer in Tampa, Florida prior to starting up. She has a Masters in Environmental Engg from University of Cincinnati and a Bachelors in Civil Engg from Osmania University, which she doesn’t use anymore and calls herself an ‘armchair engineer’. She is very passionate about making graduates more employable and women more empowered.  She is a 2014 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Ashok Reddy, Landmark IT Solutions

Ashok Reddy is the founder of Landmark IT Solutions, which runs InspireLabs an incubation center for it’s own employee product initiatives, they have successfully launched FashionLady and GrabOn as part of this initiative and these projects are trying to take off, 2 months into the launch, the traction these startups are getting is amazing. Prior to starting Landmark IT solutions, Ashok Reddy was a CTO at a US startup IncentOne, where he was critical in raising the company 26M USD at 76M USD. Prior to that he has worked with Microsoft and eBay/PayPal. Currently CTO at 2 US organizations, Ashok Reddy aspires to create multiple entrepreneurs in Hyderabad and want to see a successful exit created from Hyderabad startups. He is a 2014 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Ayush Agarwal, Avventuro Business Solutions

Ayush Agarwal is the founder of Avventuro Business Solutions (ABS), a startup based on the innovative use of Cloud technology in the niche segment – education. ABS provides mobile & dynamic solutions to educational institutes & caters to their pain points. Prior to this, Ayush Agarwal had completed his MBM from University of Strathclyde, Scotland after having worked with Accenture on a Supply Chain Solution for Unilever. Ayush is a fan of new technologies and is passionate about meeting new people & networking. Being an IT engineer & young entrepreneur, he has dozens of innovative tech-biz ideas which are waiting to get a correct launch pad to make a mark in the global environment. Chandra Mouli Koduri, Greengridz

Chandra Mouli Koduri is a co-founder of Greengridz - a cloud based data analytics provider for smart grids, aiming to address the power crisis management. Greengridz currently works in Sweden and intends to spread to India and China in the coming years. Prior to Greengridz, Chandra worked for Digiflap (digital floor map) which aims to simply shopping experience for retail consumers and selling experience for retailers. Chandra also has the experience of working in the domains of energy trading and Indian commerce during his stint as a software developer at Infosys.He studied Electronics & Communication Engg at NIT Bhopal. He is a startup enthusiast and is associated with Startup Weekend and Startup Funerals. He is strongly inspired by Elon Musk, Rahul Dravid & Novak Djokovic. Diyanat Ali, OutLife

Diyanat Ali is  the Founder of  “OutLife”  A Learning and Development Company. Outlife conducts Adventure Based Learning and Experiential Learning with a focus on imparting learning's that can be carried back to the workplace for increasing Teamwork, Productivity and High Performance. Diyanat is an Engineer by Profession and Adventurer and Trainer by Passion. Loves Adventure, Nature and outdoor sports. Diyanat has expertise in Bushcraft, Wilderness Survival, trekking, rock climbing. Loves to explore and venture out in the wilderness. Diyanat holds NCC A,B and C certificates from Army Wing and was the Best Cadet from National Cadet Corps in year 1997 and represented AP state at the Republic Day Camp - New Delhi. Diyanat is also a Certified Trainer and Facilitator. He also founded the Great Hyderabad Adventure Club -  GHAC  a Volunteer based Not for Profit Company in May 2008 and nurtured it to become the Largest and most Active adventure club in India with 150 Trained Outdoor leaders and 15000 member base completing more than 3500 adventure events and entering into the Limca Books of Records in Year 2013. Diyanat likes to try out different things, experimentation is always fun for him. He love challenges and does not give up easily on anything.  He is passionate about developing High performance Teams and Inspiring Leaders. Laxman Papineni, ROI2 Web Solutions Pvt Ltd (Giveaway.ly)

Laxman Papineni - Entrepreneur, Blogger, QA Engineer, Investor, Advisor and currently founder at ROI2 Web Solutions Pvt Ltd (Giveaway.ly) and Partner at makeideaz web solutions LLP which has grown from ZERO to Rs 3 Cr turnover company just in 2.5 Yrs. He is a Blogger by choice and Entrepreneur by Passion. He has 7+ yrs of experience in IT Industry on various capacities.. Completed Master of Computer Applications from Osmania University in 2008 and worked with companies ranging from Startups like Unithink (Acquired by Aris Global) to world's best MNC's like Oracle,  Wipro and Microsoft (Client). Meraj Faheem, Money Messenger

Meraj is the founder of Money Messenger, an application that’s changing the way forex traders communicate and trade. He also runs TheHackingSchool.com which connects the college grads with startups trying to find tech talent. A biotech engineer by degree, he holds a PG diploma in Clinical Research from Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. Meraj’s forte is building currency(FX) analysis systems, marketing and developing macro strategy for businesses, which he has been doing since 7 years in all his three startups , and other startup/companies that he is associated with. Meraj has a patent published (File No:1266/CHE/2011), for creating a method of communication for currency traders. He has worked with Google, for Genpact, developing lean sigma strategy for a process from ground up. Meraj was recently a finalist at the show ‘The Pitch’ by Bloomberg TV. Meraj is a hardcore entrepreneur who believes entrepreneurship, (in any form), is the solution to any and every problem the world is currently facing. Naveen Gattu, Gramener

Naveen is the COO & Co-founder of Gramener - Data Visualization company, pioneer in terms of “Consumption of data “ made easy for enterprises/consumers.  Naveen handles Sales & Operations of the firm and proud recipient of Lufthansa Pioneering Spirit Award-2012. Naveen is a seasoned executive with deep experience in industry that has predominantly been in the Tech-consulting and outsourcing arena. He has been with IBM for a decade in various strategic initiative roles  in North America and held  strategic leadership roles at Birlasoft. He has been responsible for delivering number of complex technology led business transformation programs for Financial Services. Naveen believes in hard work and building relationships. Nayan Kumar, Thinkbits Internet Technologies

Nayan Kumar is the Founder of Thinkbits Internet Technologies, a Hyderabad based startup which creates innovative web technology products for women.  He is a 2013 graduate from BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad and holds a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Economics. He set up business right out of college and is passionate about creating disruptive technologies in the web and mobile space. He is a 2014 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Pavan Atukuri, Skipping Stones Media

With a computer degree and an MBA from US, Pavan spent several years in IT industry working in several countries. After graduating from New York Film Academy in 2012, Pavan chucked his Corporate job in 2013 to start Skipping Stones Media, which makes Corporate FIlms, TV Commercials, Marketing/Promo videos among others. During his IT stint, Pavan worked in Consulting, Strategic Innovation, Delivery, and Sales. He built many IT practices/Teams, and managed Mega/Gama Accounts. Pavan founded a Rotaract Club (Youth club of Rotary) during his college days, and conducted world’s first “Movie & Music” quiz in Ravindra Bharati, Hyderabad. His short films on social topics were screened in film festivals across the world. He loves traveling and enjoys outdoor sports. He is an avid Golfer and Tennis player. Pramod Majety,

Pramod Majety is currently working on an idea, which would assume the role of long-term career agent and the agent would be in constant touch with the candidate. Services to the candidate would be information on job opportunities, organization culture and negotiation of salary. Startup would also act as sourcing agent to the employers. Services provided to the employer would be complete feedback from candidate’s ex-bosses, significant decrease of time and effort in recruiting. Over the last 3 years, he has been with Intellecap's Business Consulting division, where he has worked on several projects covering strategy, business planning, HR and market scoping for the sectors of education, clean energy, financial services, healthcare and water and sanitation. Prior to Intellecap, he was part of a management team at SourcePilani (rural BPO) where he gathered diverse skill sets like project management, client relationship management, financial analysis and also developed rich experience in piloting innovative business models. He is highly passionate about making labor markets more efficient by especially influencing recruitment channels and developing better systems for training the work force. Pramod Ponnaluri, Kitki

Pramod Ponnaluri is the Founder of Kitki, an experiential education firm that organises activities and field visits based learning for kids at schools. A curious boy at heart, an astronomer and photographer by hobbies, Pramod has a sense of appreciation for simple joys of life. As he progressed in his career, and through his travels across India, he realised how uni-dimensional all his academic life had been. The education system over the past few decades lost its association with the practical world, limited to achieving more marks and better ranks. To share his love for learning, Pramod plans to rekindle the lost curiosity through kitki, the window of learning and fun. He is 2014 Fellow in the Startup Leadership program in Hyderabad, India.


Raghavender Velpula, buzzz ur BRAND

During his undergraduation, he got a National Award, for his CYCLO-WASH – a washing machine, which runs on pedal power. After dreaming a tad too much about being an entrepreneur, he graduated with a Masters in Industrial Engineering from Univ. of Arkansas. After 4 years as a Manufacturing Engineer in US, haunted by his dreams of becoming an entrepreneur, he resigned and returned to India. He burnt his hands and legs in a couple of manufacturing ventures. Meanwhile, he voluntarily created unconventional marketing campaigns for his friends’ startups, which attracted huge attention. Boosted by this, he has founded “buzzz ur BRAND”, a creative guerrilla marketing agency. Today’s consumer has grown immune to big-budget advertising on pamphlets, billboards, newspapers, etc. For startups with limited budgets to cleverly break this clutter, “buzzz ur BRAND” provides high impact marketing campaigns that help engage their customers through unconventional ideas. Raghavender has learnt Thai Kickboxing. He loves reading about Psychology to understand how we choose, what we choose.  He can never stop discussing startup ideas and new disruptive marketing campaigns. Raghu Prodduturi, Occult IT Labs Pvt. Ltd.

Raghu Prodduturi is an engineer by education, business man by profession and an entrepreneur by choice. Raghu co-founded a mobile product based company Occult IT Labs Pvt. Ltd. in 2011 and worked on creating a mobile driven tourism portal Voy.ag that later got acquired by a South African company, BookSure. He is currently leading a team on building a retail analytics platform for brick and mortar stores. Proir to his startup experience Raghu was involved in expanding his family business, Sona International Marketing Agencies, into new domains of manufacturing industry. He is associated with startups in multiple ways and organising Startup Weekend Hyderabad and Startup Funerals Hyderabad is one dimension of his association. Rahul Reddy, Doctrz.com

Rahul Reddy is the product manager at Doctrz.com, a healthcare IT startup focusing on empowering doctor patient relationship. We help pregnant women, cardiac patients and young children better prepare for their emergency medical situations. Prior to this he has worked in USA for over four years. During his tenure there he has consulted clients in Banking, Energy, Government and Education domains. He has graduated from University of Southern California with a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and has a BS EE from Drexel University. He was awarded Exelon for Education Scholarship in the year 2006. Rahul is an expert in web and mobile technologies and is passionate in using these skills to improve health care delivery.  He is an avid runner and traveler – he has run in four marathons and has travelled to over 25 countries. Raviteja Govindaraju, Folktales

Raviteja Govindaraju is the founder of Folktales, a merchandise brand with city-based designs. He is also a part time iOS UI designer at Hatchstation. Prior to founding Folktales, Ravi was a co-founder and the lead designer at Desto Creative Solutions, a web design agency. He is an expert in Graphics and Web design. He holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras. He is a 2014 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Ritwik Mishra, Logos Learning World

Ritwik Mishra currently leads leadership development for over 15000 employees of Deloitte US India offices. He has over 14 years of experience in OD and L&D. This extensive corporate experience spanning several industries has showed him the importance and need to develop professional skills in campus graduates to enable their success in the corporate world. He has used his experience and knowledge to design a sustainable solution that will enable campus graduates  to hit the ground running and be ‘client ready’ from day one.  The solution will be offered through his proposed venture ‘Fastlane Educational & Consulting Services’. Rohit Jain, Omnipolis

Rohit Jain is the Co-Founder/Managing Director of Omnipolis(DCSS), an emergency service which enables citizens of the city to receive Emergency Response from public services such as Police, Fire and Medical within the Golden Hour by making use of technology. Rohit has also worked in the Animation Field and is an expert in 3D software Autodesk Maya. Rohit holds a degree in Electronics and Communication. Sainath Gupta, AasaanPay

Sainath Gupta is the Founder of AasaanPay, which is into simplifying offline payments while creating delight to Merchants and their customers.  He is also founding member of Bajarangs Industries. Sainath has mentored many start ups as well is a mentor at MentorEdge, an initiative of IIM Ahmedabad since 2010. He is also a reviewer at SOUPs ( Symposium On Usable Privacy and Security -2012, 2013). He has also been an evaluator for Economic Times Power of Ideas, which is one of the largest enabling platform for start ups in India. He is a polymath and is into entrepreneurship, dancing, adventure sports, martial arts and anything related to technology.  He holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science. An Entrepreneur from Bits Pilani University, Santosh has Co-founded Mauka Technologies, which aims to build products in education and recruitment sector. Santosh also works as Vice president at Kairos society India. Prior to Mauka Technologies Santosh has worked with companies ranging in depth and variety; from startups to multinationals like Nextgen PMS, Numbers Only hospitality, Cipy Polyurethanes and Grasim Industries. An active member in entrepreneur groups like Kairos, TIE, NEN and VFI, Santosh enjoys writing, gaming, music and travelling. Shravya Reddy, Svaad

Shravya Reddy R is the Co-founder of Svaad, an app which helps users find great restaurants depending on their choice of drink / dish / dessert. Prior to Svaad, she  worked on couple of other ideas ranging from building a portal for short-filmmakers to running an online magazine to building an educational portal. Sri Harsha Bavirisetty, 42events Online Pvt. Ltd.

Sri Harsha Bavirisetty is the Founder and CEO of 42events.com, a new, unique and hassle free way to plan events online. He is a business enthusiast and a technology buff. Prior to 42events, he has driven business development and operations at multiple start-ups. He holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad. Subhash Chandra Achanta, Thinksource Research

Subhash is the Co-Founder at Thinksource Research, a market research and consulting company; and ForStartup, a company creating a powerful service portfolio in alignment with the needs of the startup ecosystem. He has got more than 6 years of work experience with non-profit and for-profit organizations. He is an expert in Market Research, Advertising and Branding. He is a highly acclaimed speaker and conducts workshops at educational and corporate institutions. As a Startup Evangelist, he is a part of numerous non-profit platforms, where he mentors and nurtures first generation entrepreneurs. He is a recipient of the Rotary Youth Leadership Award. Vaishali Neotia, Vaishali Neotia

Vaishali is the cofounder of Merxius, a tech startup that takes exciting ideas, adds a little bit of magic code with the best tools available, and creates an explosive product in the form of web/mobile/Augmented Reality applications. Vaishali was earlier associated with DeccanTrails, where  she learnt the finer nuances of the art of effectively communicating with all sorts of people. She is an expert in ideating, building relations, management, cracking the lamest of jokes and feminism.  Thanks to her efforts, Merxius was awarded 'Best Startup of the year' at eIndia '12, India's largest ICT event.  It has also won various competitions including the first Appfest in Hyderabad, by IAMAI. Vaishali holds a first class degree in Engineering from Osmania University and is a core committee member of the ITsAP SME Forum . Abhishek Nayak is a co-founder of GharPay, a venture backed company that manages offline payments for internet companies. He studied Biological Sciences at BITS Pilani before starting his company. He is a 2012 Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Aishwarya Mishra, Satya Shodh


Aishwarya Mishra is the co-founder of Satya Shodh, an effort to enable people in Hyderabad form better opinions on issues by way of screening documentaries. He is also the President of the Hyderabad Chapter of Rang De, an online platform for peer-to-peer microlending. As a full time employee, Aishwarya works as in quality at Pramati Technologies, on JackBe Presto, an Enterprise Mashup Platform. Before joining Pramati, he worked with Mahindra Satyam. He earned his engineering degree in computer science from Cochin University of Science & Technology. He has driven across the country, trekked, and ran the 21 kms Mumbai Marathon which he has survived. Ajay is a founding partner at TechEnclave.com, India’s largest technology community. He is also a director at SNLogic Systems Pvt Ltd, a company he founded, which offers end-to-end web development and marketing services for online social and community platforms, apart from managing a number of niche blogs and websites. Asha Jayaraman, Wonder Cab
Asha Jayaraman is the Founder and Managing Director of Wonder Cab, a start-up providing women-friendly transport solutions. Prior to Wonder Cab, she worked in anti-human trafficking for sexual exploitation in Serbia and India, emergency response, technology for development, association of SMEs in the ICT space in Europe and India, public relations and inventory accounting. Asha is an alumni of the International Visitors Leadership Programmes (IVLP) of the U.S. Department of State (a premier professional exchange program that seeks to build mutual understanding between the U.S. and other nations through carefully designed short-term visits to the U.S. for current and emerging foreign leaders). Dhiraj Kumar Pillay is the Founder & CEO of Giftaperfume.com and the Managing Director of Fragstore Retail Private Limited, a paradise for all branded perfume lovers and envisioned to become India’s first multi-branded retail chain exclusively into perfumes. Prior to this he was the head of Career Launcher India Ltd.’s Hyderabad business. He is also one amongst the 99.99999 percentile people who started their careers with Coke, uncommonly known as Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd. He is a graduate in Statistics and has done his MBA in 2004. He has specialised in International Business from Symbiosis Institute of International Business. Hemanth Satyanarayana, Imaginate


Hemanth Satyanarayana is Founder and CEO of Imaginate, a high technology enterprise that develops innovative and revolutionary products in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality using Computer Vision and Computer Graphics. Prior to Imaginate, Hemanth worked as the Technology Lead for Sovoz Incorporation, USA where he engineered the design and development of a Patent pending Virtual Locomotion Controller, a sophisticated motion tracking device for the US Department of Defense and also helped raise more than USD 500K in technology grants. Hemanth has also worked in research and development roles as a Project Leader at Tactus Technologies, a US based Virtual Reality startup and also at IBM Software Labs. As a researcher at SUNY, he pioneered the development of a Image guided Liver Surgery apparatus using Augmented Reality in joint collaboration with the Pedeatric department at Kaleida Health hospital, USA. Hemanth, a jack of all trades, enjoys inventing new products and solutions to bridge technology gaps across industry verticals and is passionate about entrepreneurship. He is an avid sports fan, an amateur photographer, and likes travelling. Hemanth holds a B.Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras) and a Masters degree from State University of New York (SUNY Buffalo). Kumar Mangalapalli, RightSource Global


Kumar is a co-founder of RightSource Global, an integrated Technology and Operations firm with offices in India, UK and US. He currently heads Operations at RSG. Prior to that, Kumar worked in various capacities at a few boutique consulting firms and startups in leadership roles. Mili Srivastava, Foodys.in
Mili has 9+ years of experience in the training and hospitality industry. In the past, she has trained more than 2000 employees on soft skills in the IT, ITES, Manufacturing, Medical, NBFC and Telecom industries. She planned, strategized and designed the content and functioning of the training division at ISFC. She designed and trained for projects focusing on aspects of training of trainers, effective communication, assertiveness, influencing skills, customer service, time management, team building, sales, call handling and cross culture. Mili did a part time certificate course on Statistical Quality Control, at the Indian Statistical Institute, Hyderabad. She is currently Director of Foody’s (Zoha Foods Pvt Ltd), which specializes in home and office delivery for 20+ top end restaurants in Hyderabad. She is a 2012 Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Niranjan Seelam, Playsportz


With a vision to increase the fitness levels of school-going children, Niranjan Seelam co-founded Playsportz in 2010. Playsportz partners with schools and helps them understand the fitness quotient of each child and customize the regimen to suit the children’s needs. Prior to Playsportz, Niranjan was the Head of Operations and Finance at redBus. Ops and Finance are his forte. Along with running and squash, he enjoys “making and thrashing” business plans. This die Hard “Rocky” fan, is a Chemical Engineering graduate from BITS-PILANI and MBA from Asian Institute of Management-Manila. He is a 2012 Startup Leadership Program Fellow of Hyderabad.


Pradeep Palelli, EfficientCarbon Management Solutions


Pradeep has always been interested in the idea of sustainability and he is now one of the partners at “EfficientCarbon Management Solutions” (www.efficientcarbon.com) whose work is focussed entirely on environmental sustainability. Pradeep has previously worked at Infosys for 3 years during which he explored domains such as microfinance (financial sustainability) and e-waste management. With “Sustainable Living” and “Sustainable Business” as the core ideas of his company, Pradeep now aims to spread the message of sustainability. Pradeep holds a B.E. (Honors) in Electronics and Instrumentation from BITS-Pilani. He is a 2012 Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Ramesh Kandikonda, Schoolcanvas


Ramesh has over 25 years of work experience in the IT industry and is a recognized authority in Information Technology. He currently pursues development of online school Academic Management System (ERP +) Schoolcanvas. Schoolcanvas is a hosted online platform and brings innovative features to school management with integrated communication. Early in his career, he provided consultancy in the areas of enterprise architecture and IT solutions architecture to solve enterprise business problems. He is a 2012 Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Sangeetha Narasimhan, Twimo


Sangeetha Narasimhan is the co-founder of Twimo, a mobile marketing startup which creates applications for consumer-facing businesses to connect and richly engage with their customers. Her venture is incubated at the Wadhwani Centre for Entrepreneurial Development at the Indian School of Business. Before her entrepreneurial stint, Sangeetha worked for Cisco Systems for 9 years in Bangalore, San Francisco and Atlanta. She started her career developing routers for Cisco’s Multiservice Switching portfolio and then moved to Cisco US Sales, selling to AT&T’s backbone and enterprise VPN businesses. Sangeetha holds a B.E. (Hons.) Computer Science degree from BITS, Pilani and a Post Graduate Programme in Management from the Indian School of Business (ISB). She made the Dean’s List at ISB, served on ISB’s Admissions Committee and on the core team of iDiya, ISB’s social venture ideas competition. She continues to volunteer for Admissions interviews, candidate outreach and counselling. Sangeetha talks fast, eats slow, adores P G Wodehouse, enjoys a good swim, is afraid of heights but loves to go backpacking in the wilderness. She believes that poverty is an anachronism and she wishes to travel, taking only photographs and leaving only footprints. Santhosh Kumar, Fountain Chocolate
Santhosh Kumar is the founder of Fountain Chocolate, India’s first fountain hire company. He has been instrumental in bringing the rich, expensive chocolate fountains from shopping malls into the reach of every customer and catered to all kinds of occasions. After catering to clientele from sectors such as IT, Hotels, Fashion, etc, relying on the feedback and realising the scope within the chocolate industry, FC expanded into chocolate making under the brand name ETALOCOCH. Apart from running FC, Santhosh has been into freelancing for branding and has named start up companies such as Dsigncell, Yellow Petals – designing firms, Blue Beeds – candle making company, Bol-daal – portal for educating consumers, Beads & Buttons – Apparel Designer. He has been involved with Nirman – an association for the intellectually challenged and has been working towards making it a self sustainable organization. Santhosh had been active in sports and has represented his school, college, institutes in various competitions and won awards on numerous occasions. An award from the Grand Master – Vishwanathan Anand, a science fair award, etc are few to his credit. Santhosh holds a PMI certification and works as a program manager with one of the largest banks and would like to see himself as a serial entrepreneur. Shameek Chakravarty, Ohana Media
Shameek runs an online advertising startup based out of Hyderabad and New Jersey. He holds an undergrad in Computer Science from BITS Pilani and a MBA from the Indian School of Business, and has worked as a Product Manager at Amazon.com and a SBU head at Rediff.com, prior to starting off. He is a 2012 Fellow and Program Leader for the founding class of the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Surendra Lingareddy, AlongTheWay


Surendra Lingareddy is the founder of AlongTheWay, an online service intended to allow rail passengers order food and condiments from acclaimed vendors along their train route and get it delivered directly to their berths. This service leverages India’s diverse cuisine and condiment shops and is being designed to address a significant problem area in Indian Railways. Surendra transitioned to Hyderabad from Austin, TX (USA) in early 2010 to further his discussions with Indian Railways. Surendra currently works at Crossroads Systems, where he develops Ruby on Rails apps in addition to managing its Indian operations. Prior to that, he worked for Texas Instruments developing Graphical User Interfaces for scientific calculators that enabled teachers teach better. He specializes in developing usable and intuitive user interfaces. He holds a Masters degree in Engineering Management from Portland State University where he was awarded MECOP International Intern in 2001. Surendra is concerned about traffic in India and is ardently working to promote innovative ways of car pooling to ensure maximum occupancy in a car. He is a 2012 Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Srinivas Rao Nemmarugomula, SDS Partners/Dimecast
Srinivas Rao is a co-founder at Dimecast, a company involved in providing shopper-marketing solutions. A serial entrepreneur, during his graduation, he enrolled as the authorized vendor of fresh produce for a national chain of retail stores and Jain Irrigation. He was a key player in establishing a cost effective procurement process for the chain of stores. Later he joined an NPA company and was instrumental in clearing the balance sheet of all debts and played an important role in its revival. He started a mineral trading company and has been listed as a vendor for many prestigious cement companies for supply of Laterite and imported coal. He is a member of AP flying club, has a keen interest in billards, participant in many national events. Golf is a new found interest. He is a 2012 Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.

Chandrasekhar Kasiraju, Indigenius IT Solutions


Chandrasekhar Kasiraju (Chandra) is the Director of Indigenius IT Solutions Pvt Ltd, a start up in the software product development domain. Indigenius specializes in application development using open-source frameworks like Ruby on Rails, outsourced product development, and work flow based enterprise applications for small and medium enterprises. Managed by experienced industry professionals, Indigenius has emerged as one of the trusted IT partner providing software solutions; a testimony to this is the long and the impressive list of clientele. Prior to Indigenius IT Solutions Pvt Ltd, he worked at IBM India Pvt Ltd, where he was heading the Rational Software business for large accounts like Accenture, Capgemini, CSC, PwC, HCL. He was a high performing seller who has overachieved his numbers consistently and was part of the prestigious Hundred Percent Club in IBM for his consistent sales performance. Chandra has also worked at Tata Communications Ltd., Sify Ltd. and Sonata Software Ltd. in his sales career spanning over 13 years across India. He is an expert in Enterprise Software Sales, Relationship Management, Account Management and has closed several breakthrough deals through his career. Chandra was awarded Best Performer award in all the organizations he has worked with earlier. He holds a degree in Electronics and Masters in International Management from Pondicherry Central University. Aditya Vuchi, Media Mint


Aditya has 6+ years in the online advertising industry, working in multiple job roles which include sales support, business operations, product management, program innovation and sales strategy. He has a comprehensive understanding of the ad business and its emerging trends and is currently Founder/CEO at Media Mint, an online media services company. He is a 2012 Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Mayura Balasubramanian, Indian School of Business


Mayura is currently Associate Director, PGP – Projects at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Her role includes managing and facilitating practicum courses including live industry projects and business plan writing. Prior to this, Mayura was with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) handling the Endogenous Tourism Project (ETP). This was a national pilot for craft and culture based rural tourism as a means of developing sustainable livelihoods, implemented in 36 villages across 20 states, in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. She currently serves on the Rural Tourism Board of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. A theatre enthusiast, she has acted in plays across different genres, most recently with ‘Dramanon’, Hyderabad. Ravi Sathanapalli, Group Head, Wipro


Ravi Sathanapalli, a Group Head at Wipro is a seasoned software & IT Professional with a career goal and strong aspiration to be an entrepreneur. Ravi has a rich experience in software development, sales & account management. He has played a variety of roles and been involved in large product development activities with global multinationals like Nokia, Ericsson as well as hot startups like OpenMarket and Intervoice. He has also nurtured Centers of Excellence & Innovation in Mobile Applications within Wipro. Outside his day job, Ravi is polishing his business plan around a solution for the Indian Retail market and is keen to network with others in the startup ecosystem, including other entrepreneurs interested in working together. Ravi holds an M.Tech. in CS from IIT Madras and a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from JNTU Kakinada. He has a variety of interests – photography, travel, trekking/camping, loves a game of poker, bridge, discussion on spirituality, and loves to try out anything new. Sarath Babu Vegesna, Fermentech Biologics


Sarath Babu is a Researcher at Fermentech Biologics. He is an aspiring entrepreneur with special focus on agri-biotechnology, animal health and productivity enhancement for the improvement of rural livelihoods.He was the CEO of Shri GBS Biotech, Founder of Vegesnatechs, a consulting firm for entrepreneurs in the biotech sector, Senior Research Fellow at CFTRI Mysore, Director of R&D at Alpha Technologies and Medical Sales representative at Juggat Pharma. During his PhD, he screened microorganisms capable of degrading caffeine. Sarath has 12 patents and has 9 publications. He has also been involved in the development of development of biosensors and bioremediation of pesticides and petroleum products. He holds a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Mysore, Master of Science in Life Sciences from the School of Lifesciences, and Bachelor of Science, Microbiology, Applied Nutrition and Public Health from Andhra University. Santosh Lakshman M, Software Engineer, Maxrange Retail


Santosh Lakshman is currently working in the software team of a retail startup. Prior to this, he founded a personalized merchandise firm, named Colon K, while still in graduation at BITS Pilani, a premier institute in India. He also has experience of building websites that brought in 50K unique visitors per day. He was awarded Mantra Entrepreneur of the Year 2009. He is an active blogger, social media guy and SEO with the handle “Lucky Murari”. He is a 2012 Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Varadarajan Sampath Kumar, Gemcom Software


Varadarajan Sampathkumar is the Development Manager of Gemcom Software Inc, a leading provider of software solutions to Mining and Geology industries across the world. Prior to Gemcom, he worked at Spandana, a leading microfinance entity, where he was CTO. Sampath has also worked at Capgemini and Intergraph. He is an expert in hiring & leading high performance teams and developing highly scalable & reliable desktop & web software. He holds a Master’s degree in Commerce and Advanced Accounting. He is a fan of Edward De Bono, A.R. Rahman, M.S. Dhoni, wine, value investing etc. Sampath has lived in US, Europe and Middle East across his career of 15 years and has travelled across the regions. Vivek Patel, PolySol


Being an analytical blend of a techno-commercial person (M.tech in Plastics Engineering and Technology from CIPET and MBA), Vivek was associated with MNCs like Dupont and also worked as a Scientist in DST’s (Govt. of India) lab. He has expertise in composites, polymers, chemicals and nanotechnology domain. In 2011, his business idea “Biodegradable Polymer” won the “Next Big Idea” business competition (DST & Intel in association with IIM-B) and will be showcased in Intel Global Challenge at UC Berkeley. He is a 2012 Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in Hyderabad.


Vipin Misra, Project Leader D. E. Shaw


Vipin Misra is currently working as Project Leader at D. E. Shaw India with more than 6 years of experience in IT. He has worked extensively on developing complex automation frameworks. He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Barkatullah University. Apart from holding many certifications like CSQA, CSTE etc., he was involved in testing of e-commerce start-ups and also one of the privileged beta testers for a leading manufacturer of navigation systems. He is also founder of ‘Peppers N Petals’, a company that deals in exports of cut flowers and spices. Vipin enjoys reading books and listening to music.
