Aditi Talreja has completed her Bachelors in Finance & Accounting at New York University’s Stern School of Business post which she worked in Equity Research at Morgan Stanley in New York and London. In 2009, she moved back to India to launch DeliveryChef.in, a web portal that enables users to order food online from their local restaurants and other food vendors. She is a 2012 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Mumbai.
Arnab Choudhuri, GiftSocial.in
Arnab Choudhuri is the Founder of GiftSocial.in, a gifting site which allows users to send real gifts to social friends. Prior to GiftSocial, he worked at Xanadu Software, where he helped companies adopt best processes and practices in requirement gathering, architecting and developing applications, designing correct business processes, implementing Management Control in IT, defining strategy and incorporate technologies such as application blocks and software factories in their applications and solutions.. Arnab has also worked at 123SiteSolutions, investmentz.com, First Global and The Statesman Ltd. He is an expert in requirements gathering, Unified Process and OOAD. He holds a diploma in Computer Aided Design and multiple certificates from IBM in various software architecture disciplines. Arnab is an autodidact with a ravenous appetite for knowledge and books and loves to travel. For fun he goes paragliding & scuba diving. Chandni Sahgal, Hospitality Industry Startup
Chandni is a graduate from BITS Pilani, A Fisher Southam Fellow at University of Toronto(presitigious Massey College) and a Chevening Gurukul Fellow from London School of Economics. He is a a Charter Member TIE Mumbai, besides other trade bodies and associations, and speaks regularly in leading forums and schools. Chandni has performed strategic roles in corporates and headed a Boutique Consulting firm since 1998, and is in the early stages of another startup focussed on Hospitality Industry. He is a 2012 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Mumbai.
Dhiraj Khot, Eco Recycling and August Solutions
Dhiraj Khot recently took over the role of CEO at Eco Recycling, a BSE listed entity and India’s leading e-waste Management Company. Prior to this, in 2006, Dhiraj founded and led August Solutions, an IT company that built enterprise products in engineering and education verticals and provided services to hi-technology space. He led August Solutions through successful acquisition of his services team in 2011. In his earlier assignments, Dhiraj turned around dying CAD division (for Neilsoft), set up a new PLM practice (for Neilsoft) built enterprise solutions for semiconductor industry (Triniti). He started his career writing Math driven algorithms and software for Geometric. Dhiraj has a passion for starting and scaling up. He fuelled growth of Linsyssoft into HPC space and advised several companies into Food, Hospitality and Education sector. Dhiraj holds MBA from IIT Bombay and Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pune. Dhiraj loves to cook, shoot photographs and listen to Ghazals and Urdu poetry. Fahad Azad, Robosoft Systems
Fahad Azad is Co-Founder of Robosoft Systems, creating educational & mobile inspection Robots since 2008. Robosoft uses bots as tools to teach science and engineering to school/college students through experience based learning and exports Duct inspection robots used for cleaning air ducts from the inside. Robosoft was voted one of the Hottest Startups of India by Proto in 2010. Prior to his entrepreneurial venture, he worked as a design consultant for an IIT Bombay incubated startup, Thinklabs. Fahad is an expert in product management, product design, low cost manufacturing, sales and public speaking. He was awarded the MIT India Technology Review’s Innovators under 35 in 2011, won the International design challenge at IIT Techfest, received a Bronze Medal in Aerobatic Model, won the Young Achiever and Future Technocrat Award by SEWA, a Mumbai not for profit, and the Society Of Automotive Engineering design contest for designing a mobile phone. Fahad was close to dropping out from Automobile engineering in Mumbai University but did manage to complete it. Gaurav Gupta, EcoSustainability, TCS
Gaurav is a part of start-up division, Eco Sustainability Unit (ESU) at Tata Consultacy Services (TCS). ESU is involved in developing IT based solutions to help companies reduce their environmental impact. Prior to joining TCS, Gaurav had co-founded an energy and environment company during second year in college. Gaurav completed B.E( Hons) in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from BITS-Pilani in 2010. He is a 2012 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Mumbai.

Jeevanand holds a B Arch degree from Anna University, Chennai and a M.Des degree from IIT-Bombay. Early working experience includes various startups like MyZus – Mobile VAS, JalvaMedia -Streaming Video and ExciteArabia – Online games, after which he cofounded ThoughtRains – Design and strategy. Currently works as Director, Projects at Rediff.com. Over last 10 years he has taken over a dozens ideas from napkin to market in various areas like social networking, group buying, microblogging, ecommerce, mobile and tablet application development. Played various roles including User-centered experience design, Usability, Innovation, Product development, Project Management. Nominated for NID BusinessWorld Award ’04. Manas is the founder/proprietor of UNIDESIGN.in, a company specialising in Institutional and Corporate merchandise including gifitng. Prior to Unidesign he has worked at Alexandre de Paris, a french luxury retail company as a Business Head, western region. Manas has also worked at Pantaloons, Raymonds, Crossbridge, Status Quo and Cotton Club. He is an expert in Marketing and Business development. Manas was awarded Best student award in overall performance category, Best retail project award during Retail Management. He also has won the Most Creative Collection Award during his graduation at NIFT. He is a fan of motorsports and is passionate about photography and travelling. Manas is passionate about solving the problem of reporting and talent search, he plans to start e-commerce based portals soon on these concepts. Manish Singh, IndianEntrepreneur.com & Founder, Kudos Infomedia
Manish Singh is currently working on building a social network for Entrepreneurs, Investors and Service Providers. He also runs an online magazine called IndianEntrepreneur.com. Prior to this, Manish founded a software services firm, Kudos Infomedia Pvt Ltd in 2006. He successfully led the company from a garage operation to its acquisition in 2009 by a US based Inc-500 company. Manish has also worked as a Subject Matter Expert for Amdocs Inc, a CRM and Telecom Solutions company. He holds a B.E degree in Information Technology from University of Mumbai. He believes that education is a great leveler and supports a non-profit organization – Aseema that works in education for underprivileged children. Mohit Garg is the Co-Founder and CEO of MindTickle, a Pune based startup that creates online social gaming products for collaborative learning and team engagement. Prior to co-founding MindTickle, worked as a Director in PwC’s management consulting practice at NY, USA. Mohit has deep product development experience and proven track record in silicon valley startups. He holds a MSEE degree from Stanford Univ. and MBA from ISB, Hyderabad. Nishma Shah, Locochat
Nishma Shah is the VP of Engineering and founding partner of Locochat, a high tech product which is at the intersection of mobile, social and location based services. Prior to this, she worked at companies like Google and Cisco in the Silicon Valley, where she was responsible for building innovate, next-gen products. She has deep experience in building systems and mobile products and has also executed on several startup projects while in the valley. Nishma was awarded several performance and achievement awards during this time. She holds a M.S in Information Systems degree from Carnegie Mellon Univ. and has also taken several entrepreneurship courses at Carnegie Mellon and Stanford Univ. Pradeep Prabhu is a Senior Associate and a founding member at Crescat Excolatur, S.A., a start-up financial services firm with significant focus on frontier markets like Angola and Cameroon. Pradeep usicalso co-founded ZAPPME Media & Entertainment, a media consultancy firm that owns the advertising commercial delivery platform KRATOS powered by Mosaic from Tata Communications’. Ratnakar is part of the start up team at Birla Surya Ltd. a solar photo voltaic manufacturing company. As a strategic planning professional, Ratnakar advises the top management on implementation and execution strategy and was instrumental in the groups expansion into renewable energy sector. Ratnakar raised $200 Mn in debt alongside group resources for the execution of this unit. Ratnakar holds an M.B.A. from Satya Sai University. In his free time. After graduating from IIT Kanpur in Aerospace engineering, Sachin joined Synygy India as developer, a job that involved writing software for web applications. In mid 2010, Sachin and his colleague founded a startup i.e. XStudio Technologies, a company that is developing mobile applications and location based services. Sajid Fazalbhoy, Amedeo Software
Sajid Fazalbhoy is the founder CEO of Amedeo Software, a professional services technology company. Amedeo develops and delivers speech recognition applications and related applications using VoiceXML and other languages. These applications have primarily been used in the mobile value added services space and also contact centers and speech license developers. The company has rolled out several prestigious long term engagement projects for customers such as Alcatel Lucent, Genesys Telecom Labs, Reliance Communications, Nuance, Airtel, Infosys and several US customers. Additionally Sajid is also getting involved via investment and management in a VC funded IT contracting business. Early stage investing is something Sajid enjoys and is part of Mumbai Angels. Shirish Pandya founded a start-up firm called Total Technology after spending 29 years doing the same old thing. Total Technology is currently working on two projects one is with government on infrastructure & Second project is in the field of online media industry. Shirish is currently working with Rediff.com as a senior manager finance. Prior to this, he was part of Bharti Airtel group. Taylor is founder of A Penny a Day, a platform connecting startup social ventures to crowd-funded capital. Taylor spent two years as a management consultant with Oliver Wyman, and a year and a half with Teach For India, playing a key role in the launch and subsequently managing development.
