Aloke Bajpai, M.B.A. is the Founder & CEO of iXiGO.com since 2006. Prior to founding iXiGO, he led business development at FinalQuadrant, a mid-sized startup in travel technology, and built products at Amadeus SAS, the world’s leading travel tech company. Aloke obtained an MBA from INSEAD in 2005, and exchanged to Wharton. He completed his Bachelors in Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2001. Aloke has lived and worked in Kenya, France, UK, USA, India, is fluent in French & trying to learn Spanish. He is an avid swimmer and voracious reader.

Deepak Ravindran, Innoz

Deepak is the co-founder & Chief Executive Officer of Innoz Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, a leading mobile VAS company based in India. He started Swades Solutions, an offshore Web design/SEO firm in 2005 when he was still at college, and then launched Innoz Technologies,a privately incorporated firm located at Technopark,Kerala. He represented India in the finals of DFJ-CISCO Global Business Plan Competition 2009, and was chosen for iAccelerator’09 at IIM Ahmedabad. Deepak also recently received the Star Entrepreneurship Award’09 at the third Indira Innovation Summit, the Dell Idea League Challenge’09, has been short-listed for Red Herring Companies in Asia, as well as Nasscom Top 8 Emerging Companies for 2010. Mrigank Tripathi, Voicetap

An ex strategy consultant, Mrigank has over 13 years of experience in consulting, operations and sales. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and has over 8 years of experience in the telecom field – having worked with Mercer Management Consulting, Swisscom and Reliance Infocomm. He founded Voicetap in 2009 and has led it to many national and international awards and recognitions. Under his leadership, the company has operationally broken even after starting commercial operations in the same year.

Aditya Gabrani, TecPro Systems

Aditya is a graduate of DCE in Environmental Engineering is a Director, and leads selected projects at Tecpro Systems, a publicly traded company. Tecpro is a leading player in EPC, BOP and material handling sector in India. He is really interested in technology and drove the ERP implementation at Tecpro. He is looking after the new business in the steel and mining industries as his entrepreneurial ventures. Akanksha Shrivastava is Founder of Rappo, an online dating site in India. She is an accessory design graduate from National Institute of Fashion Technology. After NIFT, she joined Tanishq, India’s #1 jewellry and watch company as a core team member of the International Business Division. Here she honed her skills in market research, new product development and project coordination. Thereafter, she launched her own design consultancy firm and provided services to many clients in India and abroad, and also taught at NIFT in parallel. During the same time, she co-founded Ekriti.com , a social venture working towards preservation of local art. In 2011, she was chosen as a Young India Fellow from among 6850 applicants all over India and is currently pursuing a liberal arts program with YIF in association with the University of Pennsylvania. Ankit Agarwal , founded ‘Innovatiview “, a company that manufactures animatronic products in his final year of graduation. One of their products “Robotic Shera”, the robotic version of mascot for the Commonwealth Games in 2010, and became very popular among the masses. The mascot was appreciated and inaugurated by Chief Minister of Delhi. Apoorv Jain completed his graduation from IIT Delhi in 2011. He’s one of the founders of thewittyshit.com which is a creative networking-cum-merchandising venture aiming at tapping traces of creativity from common man. Goonjan Mall, Bain & Company

Goonjan Mall pursued Electrical and Electronics Engineering at BITS, Pilani and graduated with ‘Distinction’. During college, he got involved in various fields ranging from core electronics such as VLSI designing, microprocessors, etc. to new and relatively unexplored fields such as ‘Micro Elctromechanical Systems’ (MEMS). He is currently working as a Senior Analyst at Bain & Company, where he works on developing strategies, go-to-market plans, marketing pitch books, industry benchmarks, etc. and contributes to solve CXO-level problems for various sectors like oil and gas, technology and private equity.  He is also the Manager of Communications team of BITSAA International. Harindar Keer, Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology

Harindar Keer has a multidisciplinary educational background. His research interests lie at the intersection of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science. Until recently, he worked at understanding the functioning of nerve cells. Previously, he led a project on improving the energy conversion efficiency of biological solar systems, he discovered principles to design nature inspired efficient solar systems. Harindar also contributed in designing of a unique material exhibiting the strength properties of muscles.  His research career started at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), Heidelberg, Germany where he worked with Dr. Peer Bork, a pioneer in the field of Bioinformatics. He also worked as a scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin and the Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology (IGIB), Delhi. Harindar has published numerous articles in the fields of Text Mining, Machine Learning and Computational Biology.  He held teaching positions at the University of California, Irvine where he taught undergraduate and PhD students and received accolades for his teaching. He was also co-founder and Director at Illuminati eVentures, where he was heading the web application development and the web analytics division. Jitesh is one of the Directors of Ideation Soft Labs, and is the Founder and CEO at HungrySquad, a startup focusing on offering technology-based solutions to the F&B vertical. Jitesh, has been instrumental in rolling out the HungrySquad concept from the drawing board to the execution, and currently handles operational, marketing and sales, and growth strategy for HungrySquad, besides the management and the finances. Kartik Gupta is the Founder of GMF Infotech which works with various educational institutions and other small SME’s to provide then online IT and marketing services. In the past 6 months the company has grown from 2 people and zero revenues to a 5 member team with revenues of 1 Lakh per month.  He has also worked with ZS Associates (A global sales and marketing consultancy) where he single handedly developed an excel based, multi user media inventory management tool which is currently being used by one of the global market leaders in aviation.  At the age of 20, still in his 3rd year at graduation, he Co-Founded Imconfuzed.com, which was covered by MTV India in June 2008 as an Extremely useful guide for students. Mohit Gupta is a B.Tech in Industrial & Production Engineering from IIT Delhi, 2007 and PGDM (Finance) from IIM Calcutta, 2010. He started his journey as a Co-Founder of Ekjaa Foundation, a common platform for NGOs and MFIs for fund raising & fund monitoring. Currently he is working as a Consultant with Essex Lake Group, an US based profit enhancement firm. At iXiGO.com Pavitar was responsible for leading technical team and developing scalable platform to support rapidly growing User Base. Pavitar is a hardcore techie at heart with strong penchant to solve business problems with technology. Pavitar obtained Executive M.B.A from MDI Gurgaon in 2011.He completed his Bachelor’s in Engineering from DA-IICT,Gandhinagar in 2005.Pavitar’s long term goal is to start an incubation centre in India to fuel entrepreneurship. Prabhat Bhadauria, Delhi Food Adventure

Prabhat Bhadauria is the Founder of Delhi Food Adventure, which has brought the concept of Food Tourism to India. What started out as a hobby in 2010, has now become a full time setup. The concept is loved by travelers from around the world and has been profitable since inception. He loves to travel and is working to open similar chapters in cities within and outside India. Rajat Luthra, Ecommerce (Diamond industry)

Rajat Luthra is a startup enthusiast and diamond industry professional, who has successfully managed jewellery projects and startups in India, US and Scotland. Sumit Beniwal, ReviveResume

Sumit Beniwal is a co-founder of ReviveResume, a company which prepares students for the job recruitment process by helping them build resumes and conducting mock interviews, and facilitates them in completing their internship projects with NGOs and schools. He has a bachelor’s degree in technology (Computer science) from MNNIT Allahabad. He started his professional career in the field of Intellectual Property (IP) consulting and later moved to Business development in Evalueserve. Being from a village background, Sumit has also completed a crop production enhancement project in his village through soil replacement and pipeline installation for transportation of fresh water. Surabhi Dewra is the co-founder and CEO of MeraCareerGuide.Com, is a graduate from BITS-Pilani. The year following her graduation (2007), Surabhi   founded MITR – your friend, a scholastic student’s guide. The platform was utilized by numerous students to understand   different careers and by professionals of various careers to help educate students about the diversity in career choices   students have. And it was then Surabhi realized the need of a larger platform for young students to help them make right career   decision, and thus was formed MeraCareerGuide.Com – an online platform for students, teachers and parents seeking guidance and   assistance to make right educational choice.   Before this endeavor Surabhi, when in college, had taken the opportunity to counsel students in schools of Hyderabad and   Bihar. Tarun Bansal, Sagacious Research

Tarun Bansal’s work experience is a blend of Intellectual Property (IP) Research, R&D in Biotechnology Industry, and Software Engineering.  Prior to founding Sagacious Research, he was working as a Manager in the IP division of a leading KPO firm. He also worked with CDRI in the Microbiology Department as a Research Associate to complete a project related to M.tb genome.  Apart from biotech, Tarun has experience of working in Software Industry at Infosys Technologies. Udipi Ghosh, Grameen Foundation

Udipi Ghosh is currently a Program Manager with the Grameen Foundation. Prior to joining Grameen, he worked in management consulting forErnst & Young and Genpact-Axis Risk Consulting, Unitus, a leading not for profit accelerator and network organization in the microfinance industry, and also worked on independent social development projects with UNDP, World Bank and Ministry of Women and Child, Government of India.   He volunteered more than 800 hours of community service in Sudinalay (Shelter Home for Homeless Women & Children) and Shramik Referral Centre ( AIDS Hospice).  Udipi has a strong interest in Social Entrepreneurship and is sympathetic to economically disadvantaged and marginalized sections of the society. Yogita Bhalla, Test prep company

Yogita has over 10 years of experience working in Product Designing and Development.  Some of the products Yogita worked on are already very popular in the market and belong to Big Brands like Adobe Premiere Elements, Microsoft Dot NET 3.0, PSpice. Yogita is passionate about making products that solve the real pain points of people with really intuitive interfaces. Over these years Yogita had seen many growing children over burdened with the pressure of entrance examinations and killing competition resulting in sometimes dire consequences. This has been a driving force behind developing a product that does anything to reduce stress in test preparation. Yogita’s other interests include arts and crafts, Yoga and cooking. Ankur Agarwal, Advait Energy

Computer Scientist turned Business Strategy Consultant turned Renewable Energy entrepreneur. Ankur trained in Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and then went on to do a PhD in Computer Science and Applied Maths at INRIA in France. He published lots of papers and presented his research several international conferences across more than 8 countries. He worked at Microsoft Research with a fellowship at Cambridge University for a while and then decided to move into business. Left scientific research to join the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in London and worked with senior management with Fortune 500 companies across multiple sectors. Neeraj Jain, Metalogos

A first generation entrepreneur, he started his professional career with Aricent, Gurgaon in the year 2000. He worked there till 2003 on different telecom related software products in various roles ranging from testing to software development to pre-sales. After his MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad in 2005, he worked with a startup KPO and a small IT-focused boutique investment bank for a year before starting his own business advisory firm, Metalogos. He also has interests in online technologies and education domain. He is currently working on a couple of online portals in education domain.

Vinay Johar, RChili

Vinay is the Founder and CEO of RChili, a company that analyzes and parses resumes in real time. Vijay worked with Tata Infotech and Systems America before he started Connoisseur Infotech in Chandigarh, a company that creates interesting products such as RChili. He previously founded eConn in year 2004 and receivved two awards from CII-EXIM bank and STPI. Vijay completed his graduation from PEC, Chandigarh and Post Graduation from IIT Kanpur.

Himani Mantri, Chicory Chai

After graduating from NIFT in 2003, she worked with a diamond export house catering to the American & European markets. In 2005, she was invited at my alma mater to be a faculty, researcher and project coordinator in the Department of Accessory design at NIFT, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The tryst with the handicraft sector began here when she started working hand in hand with various crafts in Rajkot, Surendranagar and Kutch areas. With a full scholarship for Masters in Arts at Creative Academy, Milan which was followed by an internship under the Creative Director of Richemont Group, Mr. Giamporo Bodino, I got an opportunity to work closely with various international businesses. Eventually, Chicory Chai was established as an effort to integrate these experiences and join the growing design fraternity of India.

Saurabh Sachan, KAnalysis

Saurabh is a geeky Civil Engineer with least interest in Civil Engineering. He worked with Evalueserve for 18 months in patent-related services and then decided someone had to use more technology to do a better job in providing value to the client, this led to his starting KAnalysis. He exited KAnalysis as steady incoming revenue from existing services dampened the innovative spirit in which the startup had been created. Upon exiting KAnalysis he started AquSkills with Kshitij Sharma in the Employability Enhancement segment. The AquSkills curriculum will be implemented in two colleges starting next month. Saurabh also strengthened his presence within this sector by starting ReviveResume, which provides resume building services for recent graduates. Saurabh is currently involved in two other startups that will emerge in coming year(s), one related to rural infrastructure and the other related to utilization of bamboo in everyday products.

Dipankar Sarkar, kwippy.com

Dipankar Sarkar graduated from  IIT Delhi with a Bachelors in Computer Science & Engineering and worked at multiple technology companies including slideshare.com, kirusa, mpower mobiles before starting his own micro-blogging company in 2007, called kwippy.com. Kippy was briefly India’s largest micro-blogging platform. He is currently the CEO of Stratessence.

Yajuvender Singh, Impetus

Shwetank Verma, Razi Healthcare

Shwetank is currently the acting chief operating officer of Razi Healthcare. Razi is a growing network of low cost, integrated out patient health centers that aims to transform primary care in India. Prior to Razi, Shwetank worked on the business development team at Rumi Education Pvt Ltd. In that capacity, he developed the business model for a chain of low cost primary schools. He was heavily involved in the early development of the company with responsibilities across all functions. Shwetank is qualified chartered accountant (UK).
