Mickey Balter is the CEO of Veloquity Systems which is active in the high performance financial computing field. In Veloquity he is taking all the knowledge he has gained in 10 years in order to build the next big thing in this market. He is also the Co-founder and CEO of Fabula, an interactive social betting game on sport events, which is mainly inspired by the stock market. He is also the Co-founder of Roomies, iPhone & Facebook utility app that helps roommates manage their shared expenses in an easy and interactive way. Previously, he worked with G.H.F Capital as a Day trader in future contract on EuroDollar & Euribor markets. He was Production manager (2005-2011) of a yearly international under water photo competition, held in Eilat (Israel) every year with awards worth than 80,000$. He has also served in Military in a special air force unit. At the end of the mandatory service he stayed for another seven months in his role as a team sergeant. Mickey volunteered as a Physical counselor in the non-profit organization Haharai, that prepare youth for the IDF. Mickey holds a bachelor’s degree from Technion IIT and an MBA degree from Tel-Aviv University. He is a 2013 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Tel Aviv.
