Katie Sciortino believes that every day is an opportunity to inspire, thank, celebrate, discover, play, gift and most importantly to love. This belief combined with her passion for crafting unique cards and experiences for friends and family led to the creation of her first startup, Luvi, still in early stage development. In addition, Katie is passionate about storytelling and is currently associate producing the documentary, Remember Me Sue, about the Sue Duncan Children's Center on the South Side of Chicago. Previously, Katie worked as a Story Producer on the History Channel series Great Lake Warriors at Chicago-based Towers Productions. Katie has a Masters in Journalism from Northwestern University and holds degrees in Public Relations and International Affairs from The University of Georgia. Katie is a lover of alliteration and avocados and enjoys journaling, traveling, running and practicing yoga. She is a 2013 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Chicago.
