Dmitry Koltunov Sectors: Financial Technology, Hedge Funds Dmitry Koltunov, CFA is Partner and CTO at Novus, a fast growing SaaS Startup in Finance. Novus leverages the latest advances in cloud computing and functional programming to provide a comprehensive portfolio management platform for Hedge Funds and their Investors. Prior to Novus, Dmitry served as SVP of Front Office Development at Highbridge Capital Management, a global multi-strategy Hedge Fund owned by JP Morgan. Combining his passion for Finance and Economics, Dmitry drove the development of proprietary software for Trading, Risk, Quantitative Portfolio Construction, and Portfolio Management. Dmitry’s most notable achievement at Highbridge was leading the development of the firm’s multi-asset-class Global Trading System which has process over $70bn to date. Dmitry has published on Trading System Development and spoke on Expert panels at Industry conferences. Prior to Highbridge, Dmitry was an Associate at Morgan Stanley where he graduated the Analyst Training Program in 2003. At Morgan Stanley, Dmitry developed the Computation Engine for Modelware, an in-house startup offering Equity Research Analytics to Hedge Funds clients. Dmitry holds a BSE in Computer Science and a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania Class of 2003, and received the CFA Charter in 2007. Dmitry is a snowboarding enthusiast and an avid lover of the independent music. He has been playing the guitar for 16 years, and writes original music that he occasionally showcases at NYC Venues. Joseph Sheahan is the Co-founder and CEO of Savvo Digital Sommerlier Solutions, a digital technology startup that deploys wine recommending kiosks in the aisles of grocery stores. Prior to savvo, he was the Finance & Operations Manager at a healthcare IT startup called ViMedicus and was a Cofounder and CFO of NovoView Diagnostics, a diagnostic medical device company built around a licensed university technology. Joe began his professional career in the hospitality industry and has held a variety of roles from wine buyer to General Manager of independent and corporate restaurants. He has now combined his wine knowledge, operational experience and entrepreneurial drive to create this newest venture. Joe is passionate about building solutions for real world problems. Kathy Pyle is established as a business development and accounting professional and has over seven years of progressive domestic international financial analysis and internal audit experience. She provides auditing and financial strategies for multi-million dollar, globally recognized organizations. Her aggressive pursuit of capital has helped launch entrepreneurial ventures in business sectors including health care, manufacturing, telecommunications and waste management. She is presently an internal auditor with Life Technologies. Prior to joining Life Technologies, Ms. Pyle was a venture member at InLab, an early stage Angel and Venture Capital Fund using a scientific based process and methodology to pick and build winning companies. The Lab process evaluates potential investments and portfolio companies through a proven discipline approach, based on systematic, objective, new venture framework. She has also worked as a consultant at The Siegfried Group and in Audit and Assurance Services for Deloitte and Touche. She has previously co-founded a startup, Landlord Toolbox, which helped landlords simplify and streamline their small needs such as collecting and processing rental tenant applications, rental leases and rental payments through cloud-based software. He first scratched his entrepreneurial itch by investing in real estate and eventually founding a real estate investment company. Prior to Me Tyme , she worked at ClearEdge Power as a Channel Partner Manager. Remy has also worked at Bedrock Consulting as a Marketing Director. She is an expert in Marketing and Business Development. Remy was 1 of the 100 small business owners in the United States selected to attend the Small Business Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C. I manage all aspects of operations of Infomous, and am fully involved with all day-to-day activities, including managing the staff and overseas developers. My degree in Accounting, coupled with my work and management experience, gives me an excellent base to oversee operations and finance. In addition, I work side-by-side with the CEO on all aspects of the company’s strategy. Outside of work, I am an avid consumer of information about the NY Tech and Venture Capital scenes. I am also a big fan of philanthropic activities, especially those that support the development of young women. I, along with 500 other youth around the globe, in collaboration with the Office of the UN Special Envoy for Global Education, am trying to get every child into school by the end of 2015. Shala Burroughs is the Executive Director of Women Innovate Mobile's Accelerator. Prior to her foray into tech, Shala was an Intelligence Officer with the Department of Homeland Security. Shala holds a BA in Government from Dartmouth College, is married to the most patient husband in the world, and loves to spend time with her hot mess of a beagle, Kona. Shashikant is Co-Founder and CTO at TheFind Inc, a startup in shopping search with more than 15 million visitors per month. At TheFind, Shashikant has been involved in venture funding from leading VC firms, product innovation (5 patents pending), and building a scalable search engine. He recruited a team to solve hard problems in information extraction using machine learning, and has played a crucial role in traffic growth and revenue optimization. Shashikant also co-founded BITSEmbryo, a project for BITS Pilani, and led the team from idea inception to building an Embryo Club on campus to run this project. In 2 years, Embryo has conducted 80 lectures via video-conferencing, some of them simultaneously across Pilani, Goa and Dubai campuses with an attendance of over 500 students. He holds a Masters in Computer Science from Stanford and a Bachelors from BITS Pilani where he graduated with the Institute Gold Medal.

Shay Har-Noy, Founder & COO, Tomnod Shay Har-Noy graduated summa cum laude with a BS in electrical engineering and BA in economics from Rice University in 2004 and a master's degree and a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California, San Diego in 2006 and 2009. Shay is a co-founder/COO at Tomnod, a start-up focused on crowdsourcing to draw useful data from satellite and aerial imagery using a distributed work force. He has extensive experience in the field of image/video processing and computer vision and holds multiple patents and publications in the field. Since it’s inception in 2009, Shay has been a critical member of the Valley of the Khans Project, a project supported by UCSD and National Geographic to locate the tomb of Genghis Khan in remote Mongolia using high tech minimally invasive tools. This project has taken him to Mongolia three separate times where he was able to help guide the expedition and deploy these tools in the field. In addition to his professional life, Har-Noy is an avid climber and has been recognized twice in the American Alpine Journal for first ascents in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. He is 2012 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in San Diego.
