Mike has significant technical experience and a passion for clean tech and innovation. Mike holds a BS in Physics from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.. After completing his bachelors, he attended the University of California at San Diego to perform research at the Jacobs School of Engineering on the extraction of methane hydrates. A short time later he was accepted to the MS program in Materials Science and Engineering at Boston University. While there, he worked in the High Temperature Materials Processing Lab and Boston University and helped develop a novel coating for solid oxide fuel cell interconnects. Mike also helped lead the Boston University Energy Club break ground within the Boston community. Mike’s passion for entrepreneurship and innovation has driven his desire to start hydroGEN Technologies and commercialize a waste to hydrogen technology. This innovative process has the potential to revolutionize the high purity hydrogen market by at low cost and without price volatile fuels.

Mr. Anand is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR), Research Scholar & Instructor at Fung Institute , College of Engineering, UC Berkeley. He is an entrepreneur and experienced executive with engineering background. His experience in the industry has spanned across product development, manufacturing, consulting and business development in Medtech and Technology Industry. Prior to UC Berkeley, Mr. Anand served as the Director of Business Development at Orbees Medical, where he focused on the growth and alliances of consulting as well as technology practice for the North American region. Mr. Anand received his MS in Engineering from University of Wisconsin, Madison and BS in Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi. Later, Boston Scientific sponsored Mr. Anand to attend the Biodesign Program at Stanford University. Mr. Anand was awarded the prestigious “Entrepreneur Excellence Alumni Award†by his undergrad alma mater – Delhi College of Engineering, one of India’s top engineering institutes. He has also served on the board of various national/international organizations and received various academic, engineering and leadership excellence awards. Mr. Anand enjoys decorating his office with his numerous long distance running medals and Bibs. He also the unique feat of learning to swim and finishing a triathlon all within 2 months! Nehal Madhani is the founder and CEO of AltLegal, a cloud-based software that makes it easy for IP professionals to prepare and manage copyrights, trademarks, and patents. The software automatically updates case statuses and deadlines, seamlessly collects key details, and instantly generates IP filings.
Previously, he was an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, where he represented companies, investors, and creditors in multibillion-dollar corporate restructurings, including acquisitions, out-of-court restructurings, and chapter 11 cases. Before that, Nehal founded an online classifieds startup for college students. He also served as the director of development for Dining for Change, a nonprofit organization that raised funds for charities through student networking events, and advised small businesses on strategic legal and business considerations.
Nehal has also co-authored several publications about the challenges of applying current antitrust law to online business models, which have appeared in the Huffington Post and in the Journal of Management and Information Systems. Nehal has a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from the Wharton School of Business, and a B.A. from Northwestern University. Nehal is passionate about making legal services more accessible.

Victor started his career at Trilogy, a maker of ecommerce software for FORTUNE 500 firms, where he worked with the CFO on internal consulting projects. Via an “”externship”" from Trilogy, he then served as an Analyst at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), one of Trilogy’s venture investors. Upon his return to Trilogy, Victor played a key role in building and spinning off the subsidiary insuranceOrder.com, a pioneering online insurance agency built on an innovative technology platform. Victor also worked in business development at Roche Diagnostics, where he created the business plan and initial market research plan for a new genetic test for drug response to a prevalent cardiovascular condition.
