Arpit ChhabraCEO,FoundermishTag
Arpit graduated from NSIT with a degree in Manufacturing Process and Automation, and was keen to start a consultancy that designs Special Purpose Machines (which could never happen). Arpit worked with Yamaha and Wipro for close to six months each and left both of these because he felt he was a misfit in these jobs. He joined Evaluserve as an Intellectual Property (IP) Analyst and kind of convinced himself that closest he can be to research in India is through this field only. After EVS, he started his first venture, Sagacious Research in IP research. At Sagacious, he started as an operations guy and soon started heading Business Development. He was able to accumulate a total revenue of more than USD 2 Million for Sagacious within 4 years. Alongside Sagacious, he was pursuing his dream of developing an electronics product over the weekends and developed a controller for LED Displays. He left Sagacious in April 2012 and started Sparrow Devices with his wife, Smriti. He is a 2013 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Delhi.
