Ankur AgarwalAdvait Energy
Ankur studied Computer Science at IIT Delhi, and then went on to do a PhD in Computer Science and Applied Maths at INRIA in France. He published several papers and presented at international conferences in 8 countries before joining Microsoft Research with a Fellowship at Cambridge University. He left Microsoft to join Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in London where he worked with senior management with Fortune 500 companies across multiple sectors. After two years at BCG, Ankur returned to India to set up Advait Energy, an innovative energy company that provides clean solutions to customers at the base of the pyramid in India and currently focusses on solar power. He currently serves as Director / Partner / Advisor / Consultant in Multiple business and social ventures in India.

Armed with a Bachelor’s and Masters in Computer Science from the Johns Hopkins University, she gained experience in distributed computing research on a DARPA project and process optimisation Unisys Corporation, USA. Ishmeet Singh worked as an Equity research analyst at The Smart Cube, India where he covered leading pharmaceutical companies in Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to this, he was co-founder and CEO of Verostore.com, a premier online grocery store based out of Gurgaon. He was also co-founder and Director at Illuminati eVentures, where he was heading the web application development and the web analytics division. He now runs a 16 months young venture called Traveller Kids which makes fun learning games for children aged 5-11 years.Traveller Kids also has a subscription based service of educational and fun games. Surabhi is someone who has spent her whole engineering life in being passionately curious about things around and doing experiments to find the best fit for her interests to channelise her immense energy, which she claims is enough to create a dent in the part of the universe that belongs to her. She was the director of an online networking cum merchandising startup, named Witcraft in second year of her college (IIT Delhi) and having existed the startup successfully by selling it out, she joined another hot endeavor in her college named Zumbl.com, which is an online chat platform for strangers. Except coding she did everything in these two startups, ranging from being the only around in the office to serve teas to pitching to investors. Having honed her skills in idea generation, marketing and PR in aforementioned startups, she is now seeking forreasing her knowledge base in social sector. Few other modest feathers in her caplude, authorship of a book on farmers for a fund raising campaign of an NGO, taking India to top 6 position for the first time in a Global market. l consulting competition (CIMA GBC) competing against 5000 teams from 24 nations, coauthorship of 3 research papers (2 Biotechnology, 1 Finance) and being a dramaqueen (quite literally, around 25 play performances in 4 years of college). is an Electronics and Communication Engineer by qualification and subsequently worked in the telecom sector after graduation. He soon realized that his interests lied elsewhere, as Vikram is passionate about technology and how it can bring about a difference in India. Vikram was given the opportunity to work with an upcoming startup- Webbzer, which is a DIY website builder. Webbzer gave him the understanding and knowledge needed to start a business from the ground up and the confidence required to being an entrepreneur. After spending 1.5 years honing the product to better suit the target market, he left to begin his own journey with Parkify, a mobile app that helps users to search and book available parking spots. Vikram has been involved with Parkify for 8 months now and plan to launch the product by October. Apart from this, he is a sportsman at heart, ready for a pickup Basketball game when the time allows and is also a self taught guitarist. Vinayak Garg is the Founder of Zest.Md, a web based tool which helps Medical Professionals and Health Coaches to create and run their own eClinic, for online patient management and consultation. Vinayak has recently launched Zootzy.com a tool which allows users to create a website using their facebook page as input, and the website then updates whenever new content is posted on facebook page. Prior to this, he co-founded LeapEd Education Solutions, a company focused on education marketing and student leads generation. Vinayak has also worked as a Consultant for Government Reforms with PwC. Vinayak is an expert in online marketing, search engine marketing, leads management and online user experience & engagement. Vinayak is passionate about solving the problem of global access to information. Vinayak holds a degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He also spent a year at Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, France. Vinayak was awarded as INDIAFRICA Young Visionary 2012, by Government of India.
