Ashish Arte is the Co-Founder of SURGERi, it is Revolutionizing Healthcare Through Data Science. Prior to this he worked at Twin Shores Consulting. He has a degree in Engineering and a Master’s in Science and Business Administration. Ashish is an expert in Software Engineering, Agile Methodology, Product Management and Scrum. He is a 2017 fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Pune.

Dr. Sanjeevani Nene is the Founder and Director of Choice Dental Clinic a Multispecailty dental clinic offering the latest treatment procedures with a state of the art operatory and Dental Stem Cell Bank . It offers TOTAL DENTAL CARE UNDER ONE ROOF. Sanjeevani has been in private practice se more than 25 years and was a proprietor of Choice Dental Clinic till April 2012, when she decided to make her enterprise into a Co. Sanjeevani has been practising general dentistry, with more emphasis on conservative , cosmetic and restorative dentistry. She has done a post graduate certificate course in dental implantology from Germany and Holland in the year 2001. She has attended various national and international dental conferences and completed various courses and continuing dental education programmes on cosmetic dentistry. She is an expert in Smile designing and cosmetic dentistry in general. Sanjeevani was awarded BDS, a degree in Dentistry . She has completed the 10000 WEDP conducted by Goldman Sachs and ISB Hyderabad in 2011. She is a fan of Indian Classical music and traditional forms of art. Sanjeevani is passionate about solving the problem of dearth of medical and dental infrastructure in the rural and peripheral areas. She is 2014 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Pune.

Makarand is a medical graduate who has done a certificate course in Medical Informatics and has vast clinical experience in the domain of Medicine, Critical and Intensive care units mostly in Mumbai. After working in clinical domain he realized that most of the health problems can be taken care of in the early stages and health education is an important aspect to promote wellness. He started working for a German-American Medical publishing company, which he had joined meanwhile to keep in touch with recent advances and for probable sponsorship that was possible. Now he has registered the company and has started hunting for tech-partners and employees to work on the concept of ‘Online Healthcare’ and working on this first project , and is finalizing an office location for the same and is in discussions with medical professionals as well. He is 2013 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Pune. He is doing MD Pharmacology.

Nishant is the founder of Embryyo Innovations - a companyubated in the Venture Center at NCL Innovation Park in Pune. He envisions Embryyo to be a center of innovation for appropriate technologies delivering impactful solutions in the field of healthcare delivery and medical devices. Although Embryyo is still in its infancy, the company has recently won the prestigious USAID and Gates Foundation grant for the development of an indigenous drug adherence monitoring system for TB patients. They are also working towards several interesting product ideas in areas of mother & child health and women’s health. Nishant graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay in 2010 with a Dual Degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his stay at IIT, he developed a passionate interest in the application of engineering priples for the development of meaningful medical technologies. He pursued his interest deeply through a research internship at the University of Munich Hospital in Germany, where he worked with clinical neuroscientists in the development of an eye-gaze tracking device. During his Master’s back at IIT, he designed and developed novel biosensing devices, playing with human blood on microfluidic lab-on-a-chip platforms. These research experiences resulted in international publications and a few patents. After graduation, he worked with Philips Healthcare in Pune, on the design and development of x-ray systems for interventional surgery, where he learnt in detail the nuances of a high-end medical product design lifecycle. He also worked briefly as a Solution Specialist for the Medical Devices Business Unit at Agiliad, a young product engineering services company founded by very senior industry leaders in India. While he is not pursuing his primary areas of interest, he loves to read and brainstorm on diverse topics and help design robots for school children. Nishant is currently a Fellow at the Startup Leadership Program for the 2014 Pune Char.

Satish Bansode is Co-founder of BioSys IndiCorp, a Life Science Technology neonate enterprise. We are engaged in developing a unique product based solution to aid faster research in life science sector. This will not only speed up the process of research but also help in discovering newer molecules. The product is user and environment friendly. An alumni of University of Mumbai Life Science department. Satish has worked for companies like Universal Medicare, HiMedia Labs, Praj Industries and Alfanzyme Life Sciences. A veteran of more than 15 years experience in techno-commercial sales and business development, has successfully launched new innovative concepts in Indian and international market. He is passionate about doing first time right and believe that dreaming is just not about building castles in air but working on it to convert it into a reality.
