Lina Zdruli Founder and CEO dafero
Lina Zdruli is the Founder and CEO of dafero, a social enterprise specialized in date-based delicacies made by refugee women. She is a special guest at Y20 Summit/G20 Engagement Group and consultant at World Bank Group. Lina has also worked at Breaking Barriers and UNCCD. She is an expert in integrating a companies' core expertise with positive social and environmental outcomes. Lina was awarded Bhagwan Kaur wife of Gokal Singh of Halwara Award in Arts, Dean of Arts Outstanding Leadership Award for the UBC Community to Beyond, Walter H. Gage Memorial Fund Recipient and many more. She holds a degree in Foreign Studies, International Affairs, Environment, Political Science and Government. She is a fan of Bill Gates, co-chair - Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Lina is passionate about using business for social good - growing companies while scaling shared value programs. She is 2019 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Washington DC.
