Lindsey Markelz, Co-Founder CharityGiftMarket & Director of UrbanPromise International (Social Enterprise) Lindsey Markelz is the Co-Founder of CharityGiftMarket and Director of UrbanPromise International (UPI). After serving in the Peace Corps, Lindsey started working with UPI, a start-up non-profit, in 2008. In December 2010, Lindsey developed the vision for CharityGiftMarket.com, an aggregate e-commerce website where Charities sell merchandise to support their cause. By the spring of 2011, CharityGiftMarket was in pilot phase with a live site, partnering with charities and helping to sell their products and promote their work. Lindsey holds a Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
